Are you a really good driver? If you've had any experience driving large trucks/buses/equipment or think you can, check out CyRide. Even if you have no experience driving a bus, the training program there is second to none. After you "graduate" the training program you'll get paid well for a part time job in Ames. I was making a little over $11 when I left in 2010. They have a multitude of shifts that you sign up for every semester, so you can schedule your work around your class schedule. Great job if you can handle a few dimwits (every once in a while) riding the bus.
