True, Im Iowa through and through. Never leaving this great state.
(Unless an amazing career opportunity arises obviously.)
I wore knee high socks every game. Because they look bad *** with football pads on.
The gloves are dependent on the position.
Just because I'm a man and CAN brave the cold doesn't mean I should have to choose to!
I love Iowa and will defend it to the death, but I believe everyone needs to live away from the state/region they grew up in at some point in their lives.
Gloves were acceptable. Sleeves were still for *******.
Defensive linemen will grab anything they can to get an advantage. An offensive lineman wearing sleeves is just asking to have a bull rushing defensive lineman to throw him right to the ground.
I wasn't born & raised here, but I have chosen to live here for the last 30 years. I must like something about the place!
