They changed the monitor size of all the computers in this computer lab. I have 4.5 straight hours of class on a 20" Widescreen Monitor.

I dont mind burnt popcorn that much. If its a little burnt I can either ignore it or up a **** ton of salt on it, but if its blacker then charcoal then hell no, thats going straight to the trash.
Half of what I asked for, which was my pessimistically optimistic goal. Sounds like we're going to do some stuff with my job title/description this year so that by next year I can hopefully get the rest. Apparently much is based on my job title which is not relevant to what I do and never really was. That's a new thing because as far as I know, it wasn't based on that before, so my title didn't really matter. It was assigned because other people my former manager managed had that title and whoever was in HR at that time probably figured that sounded good for me too. So it puts me in with a group of people for whom that title is relevant, but not for me. So hopefully getting that changed up will put me into a group with a higher ceiling since it sounds like I've about maxed out the group I'm in.
I will give you monopoly monies.

3) for the future raise part? Nothing yet, but title changes are actually something that has been brought up a couple times this year now as something to work on for me because it's not relevant at this point. I know it's being worked on company-wide as well. I'm not terribly concerned about it because my current manager is awesome and I think she felt bad that she was a bit hamstrung on this.

how much do you people pay per month for car insurance? Trying to figure out if we pay too much but getting a quote without giving up your first child is torture. Two standardish cars, both DH and I are on the registration. No tickets, one no-fault accident. Just trying to get a ballpark. I know location matters and all that, blah blah blah.
We have State Farm and pay ~$90 per vehicle per month. We have a pretty good policy too. Good coverage levels and low-ish deductible.
