That's too bad. Hopefully it gets better sooner than not. Bribes? :wideeyed:

Heh...IDK...I think he just has to get used to it. He's always been kind of bashful with new people, even back when he was in daycare full time (0-2.5), so all these new people are probably a little much for him.

Fastest way to accidentally and permanently ruin your clothes: forget to empty your pockets and your chapstick goes through the drying cycle. Tiny oil stains everywhere.

Whatevs. Make yourself a Malibu with pineapple juice and try telling me it's not like sex on the rocks.

I've got a super old bottle of coconut malibu in the fridge. Friend bought it for me when I turned 21. I should probably pour the rest of that out.

I would google the **** out of that trying to find a fix. That sucks.

My husband has committed a cardinal sin in this household...

Burnt microwave popcorn

Passive aggressive drivers with plates from eastern Iowa counties going 63 in the left lane on 30 all the way to Ames & beyond. Yup...it's Farm Progress Show week in Boone. Need to add 10 minutes to my estimated commute this week.

And here's another thought. When a gravel road has tall, full-grown stands of corn on both side of the road and the road has somewhat narrow ditches, DO NOT turn onto the road, drive 10 yards, and park your widearse truck in the road so that you can use your phone to text or gps or whatever the hell you're doing. People turning onto the road cant SEE you...and when they do, they swing wide to miss you, and nearly nail the little Lumina coming from the other direction.

Yes. It was an entertaining commute this morning, and I'm very crabby now.

dude, catch up! She's mentioned working at the university a bunch of times. She's in Agronomy Hall somewhere.

Is she the Herbology professor?

It hasnt rained for 3 weeks in Eastern Iowa but the minute I'm in a slight sense of urgency to get into town for a meeting I blow a tire on the way in and have to change it in the pouring rain. Not gonna lie though, my pastures needed rain so badly that I kind of enjoyed get soaked and having my wife and kids laugh at me from the dry inside.
