DH does this but he is a gamer. I still find it weird. Though I like to watch and play volleyball, so maybe it's like that? To me it just seems like watching someone else read a book.
That's what it seems like, but I suppose it can slightly be like watching Mystery Science Theater 3000? Watching a movie with people watching and commenting on a movie? The person I've watched is pretty sarcastic and has kind of weird humor like me, so maybe I'm just drawn to his personality when commentating?
AND a short timeline.

I just don't understand how we're supposed to believe there are people that are going on the show and actually believe the first house with everything they want and no renovations is realistically an option for them. If you've seen one episode, you know they're just setting you up there.
THIS! This annoys me every time! One person was like "why did they even take us here, we can't afford this"
Erm, haven't you seen the show you agreed to be on?! That's how it works. Plus you have to know they are renovators. Why would you think the perfect house is yours?

I've got a really, REALLY embarrassing confession to make. I've found myself spending time on YouTube watching video game game plays. Like, I'm not a gamer. I have a PS3, but it hasn't been played for probably four months and I might play a game on it from time to time usually. But for some reason I find these videos funny and enjoyable. There's definitely something wrong with me.

Seriously, is that a spitball guess, or where do you see these stats? I don't need to look that I'm probably one of those 5, but I see references to thread stats once in a while, but I've never seen where to get them.
So there's a guy who used to work for me that would stay up all hours recording his gaming sessions, then oversleep and be late for work 2-3 times a week. He had some plan to actually make money somehow from posting youtube videos of him playing games and describing how to play a game. Now I'm sitting here thinking it'd be hilarious if you were watching this guy's videos. I know they're out there, as his co-workers have mentioned watching them...primarily for ways to make fun of him, I'm sure. He's actually a good kid and smart, but it amazed me that he would burn up his vacation being late because of playing video games. I mean, I'm not surprised that it happens, but that this guy was one to fall into it.

There CAN be money to be made doing it. I don't know how, but there is. The highest subscribed person on YouTube is one of those people (Pewdiepie) though I don't know how people can stand to watch him if they're over the age of 12. He makes good money though. And plenty I YouTube vloggers either make good money or have an actual career off of YouTube. I like to watch the Vlog Brothers, Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart's My Drunk Kitchen on there, and I know they all make a living too.
I don't think many gamers make a living doing it, but a few do. Markiplier is another one of the highest subscribed YouTubers and he does it by playing games too?
