GF and I have been dating for 4.5 years, and we both know we arent ready to be married. Some days it seems she thinks we could be engaged, but Im not doing any of that till Im out of college an settled down for some time.

I dated my wife for 5 years, we got engaged for another two before getting married. We joined our checking appts and bought a house somewhere in the middle. Our parents were impressed.

There is no right formula no matter what some people like to say

ha, I love this! Would it make a bad impression if I went over and made mud pies in our ditch? Neighbors get to think I'm weird?

Mrs. Velo and I dated for seven years before a one year engagement. Then we moved in together (and to the same state) two years after we got married. I said I would travel to see my girlfriend but not my wife but right before we got married she had chance for a promotion so I said "go for it". When we got pregnant I said we really needed to live together.:spinny:

It's painful handing over a check that's like two years of your working. I'll get more excited when get to start picking shiz out.

I'm terrified having to pay most of my college bill with summer work money. I'll be scared as **** when that day comes for me.

My wife always loved it when I said this.

"We got pregnant?! We? I'm the pregnant one!"

Complain complain complain. I tried to make her feel better by putting on 10 lbs, but I really don't think she appreciated my efforts.

See, I'm the opposite. I loved the feeling of writing a huge check knowing the money was in the account, it didn't come from a loan, and no money came from anyone else besides my wife and I. Thinking of the time I bought our van with no loan, it felt like I stood up, unzipped my pants and there was a loud, deep, resounding *thud* as I flopped it down on the desk and said "whadda ya think of that?"

One. It is a first family - second family deal. I wouldn't trade them for a whole fistful of trips to Europe.

Yeah, I say that now, but wait until the next time they **** me off...

Got it. Technically, I have 2 sons, two step sons & two step-step daughters (he married the girls' mom when they were babies, so they think of him as dad. Mentally, however, WE have OURS. I don't differentiate, and neither does hubby. Oldest to youngest (his two boys) is 7 years. And yeah, at some point in time I have wanted to drop kick every single one of them into next Tuesday!

All I can think to say is "oh, my..."

Those may be the only things that rate above spiders on my "disgust-o-meter." I never had cockroaches before I moved to KC and I lived in some really ****** places. The only reason we got them was because our neighbors in our apartment complex moved and we inherited their pets. Needless to say, I was repulsed by them, and it played a huge part in us moving from apartment life to being home owners.

Then I'd hear horror stories about cockroaches burrowing into the glue in the cardboard boxes and that people would move the little bastards with them to their new place. I pretty much ran everything I own through intense scrutiny before it went on the moving truck.

If I were you, I'd trigger a tsunami to purge the island.

I'm pretty sure the roaches would find a way to survive.

we own some dirt.
Congratulations on being tied to "your" spot on Earth for as long as you want!
Timely that I see this while on a pasture grazing ride for work. Very little dirt to be seen here.

Why is it that every year, there are numbnutz that don't believe the rules apply to them. Despite cones and barriers, despite LARGE no left turn signs, despite move-in crew telling them they can't turn there, despite the fact that they have traffic backed up all the way to Lincoln Way...they INSIST on turning left off of Beach (formerly Wallace) into the Richardson Court loop. Times like these I kinda wish I drove a tank...

Just tell the Feds you represent a police department. You will get something close.
