I never really wanted a smart phone but this past July I got an Iphone, and I absolutely love it.
4 year old was taught to play fruit ninja on a tablet. About once a week he gets to slice away for about 10 minutes on our Kindle Fire. Funny to hear him holler "no bombs" every time a bomb flies up.
So my predecessor decided not to pay the bills for the water cooler company for every month over the past year. So now, I get the fun Friday afternoon job of coding each one (12 months, one month each invoice, 25 locations), signing off on and scanning each one individually and saving to email to accounts payable, again, each one individually. And I have to put the company name in of the cooler company. So Menehune Water Company will forever be burned into my brain after 300 different entries.
Oh! The best part was I already coded and scanned and saved every one before realizing I coded it wrong.

They're working on the stuff I'd actually prefer not to do as opposed to this menial task.
OMG! I'm watching Dateline and it's about some murder thing in Early, Iowa and after watching-ish for almost two hours, I just now noticed the murdered kid was wearing Cyclone clothes.

This made me laugh pretty hard, then immediately feel bad about it. Then I laughed again.
So like how people in my hometown were excited to be famous for being on Unsolved Mysteries for the Jodi Husentruit murder?

remember that railroad murderer guy? We had a couple in the next town killed very near the railroad and that was the excitement of the year that he killed them until it was determined that it was some creepy kid that was her ex or obsessed with her did it.
don't blame me, I was pretty young. I just remember all the rumors flying through town. It even made KWQC news, that's a big deal.
The dad of the lady was our semi-neighbor so I remember going over and helping him bale hay and one bale rolled off the wagon and into the trees. We'd see that bale every time we brought a load in.
ok, so googling this was a bad idea. I didn't realize they executed him. Never read the description before, this kid sounds horrifying.

According to that webpage, he got a stay of execution. Not sure if it happened later or how old that page is.
