SoCo is a straight. A rather cheap straight whiskey, but not a scotch whiskey nonetheless. Really, it's definition as a whiskey is pretty liberal.
Actually, it isn't even a whiskey. It's a liqueur with whiskey flavoring. But I still like it.

You like whiskey at all, Rum Brooklyn?
Take it as a compliment. Hawaiians call elders they respect "auntie" or "uncle".
ooh, ooh! Scotch is from Scotland and whiskey is from Tennessee? Or just America? but they are the same type of alcohol, right?
What is bourbon then?
not especially. That's what crown is, right? I've had it in mixed drinks but don't love it. Don't think I've had it solo though.
Per my snobby relatives, Scotland has laws dictating some of the method required to be able to call it whisky, right?
Try a glass of 12 year Glenlivet on the rocks. It's smooth and doesn't really burn at all.
Also, chicks that drink scotch=total sexiness. That is a fact.
I like Scotland. I was once in Scotland but didn't try any Scotch. That's probably a crime.
Required to call it scotch you mean?
I don't know if I can communicate with you anymore.

I have no idea! I hate the stuff. They're always arguing over which is best...Glenlivet or Glenfarclas, or a half-dozen other bottles of over-priced hooch.![]()

Slight derail...
So I guess I'm doing the cowgirl thing and revealing body parts one by one.
