Man, that sucks because I think they needed it to stay in the playoff hunt....
Kinda fits with the continuing pie theme and free association randomness of this thread. Yesterday “conversation” trying to get two-year old to try potato salad:
Two-year old: Potato.
Me: You say potato and I say potato.
Two-year old: Sweet potato!
Me: Sweet potato pie?
Two-year old: Sweet potato pie poopie!

This reddit thread about what stupidity medical professionals have to deal with is outrageously tragic and funny at the same time.

running is the devil.
How did a Jack Daniels bottle get in my front yard.
Agreed. I'll never understand the people that say they actually enjoy it. I feel like anyone that says they enjoy running is just a ******* liar. You can enjoy the benefit, or spending time outside, but I don't see how the actual act of running is enjoyable to anyone.
it felt so hot today even though it was only like 80. There are moments where I don't hate it, but I never get that runner's high that people talk about. I feel like that meme - "I was told there would be a runner's high". Today I hated 110% of the moments.
I'd said the same thing about the runners high. I think it's something runners made up to make it sound like their stupid *** hobby can actually be enjoyable. I usually feel good about my run 15 minutes or so after I complete it, but there's not a moment that goes by during my run that I'm having fun.
well I'm glad it's not just me then. I feel like a defective runner when I see all these happy people running. Or talking about happy running.
Try reading about meditative running. I've found no better way to beat stress after a rough day.
There is a runner's high too, but I do have to concentrate in order to feel it. Reminds me of the after effect of a nice roll with the lady friend.
All that said....it's still a very love/hate relationship with running.
....and how can they say running in the heat doesn't burn more calories???
It has to make me sweat more, that's for sure.
I read last night that donating blood kills 650 calories.
I hate needles, but now I'm reconsidering......
Last time they tried to take my blood there were almost punches thrown. I have a pretty bad needle phobia.
The one workout I totally don't understand is yoga. It's painful and not relaxing at all. Yoga actually makes me angry.
