I love WebMd. I once had a lingering cough with a rattling in my lungs. WebMd said it was either a cold or HIV.

WebMd is always cancer when I use it. Though it actually didn't give me anything crazy this time. It was the rest of Google being fear-mongery.

just had tacos, pizza, and spaghetti! I think we're doing blts tomorrow, so probably end up with something lazy tonight since he's got to go grocery shopping at the gym and it'll be later.

What kind of gym do you go to that sells groceries?

what should we have for dinner? We need more meal ideas.

An old standby...quickie for when you both work, no-one wants to "cook" and you want dinner FAST. Bonus - the ingredients can just hang around in the cupboard until needed. :)

Chicken/shrimp curry.

1 can cream of chicken soup
1 lg can Chicken, not drained
1 lg can lg shrimp, drained
1 to 3 tsp curry powder, depending on how spicy you like foods

Mix together in saucepan & heat through. Serve over cooked rice.

I don't recall ever seeing canned shrimp. Not saying it doesn't exist, but I honestly can't ever say I've seen it.

Right next to the chicken & tuna & salmon. The frozen mini shrimp are better, but you have to thaw them first. When I say large, they come in large (about 1/2 inch) small (about 1/4 inch) and infinitesimal (basically broken bits & pieces, unrecognizable as shrimp).

So true.

OK, since this is pretty much now the CF women's thread, plus 00 and pantsy, I'm just going to ask a girly centric question...

Anyone ever shop on Etsy? And what for? I have browsed, but never bought, but an Adam Savage (guy from mythbusters) podcast got me thinking about it again (it was questions from Etsy users for Adam). Just curious if anyone's ever actually shopped there and what they got. I've seen lots of cool stuff, but never actually bought.

I think he's lying and just wants to call about pie. So I'll keep ignoring him.

And that was what I assumed, and why I thought it notable that I've never seen them. I thought to myself "well, they'd be right in by the canened tuna and salmon, and I've seen the sardines (bought some for a green goddess dressing recipe), but I've never seen shrimp". Just found it interesting.

a close friend puts her pottery on there so I've looked at it on there a couple times, but never ordered anything off of it. FB friend last year had a wedding registry there - they were registered for all sorts of handmade dishes and serve ware type stuff. I thought that was pretty cool.

I bought a sweet *** belt buckle on Etsy once. Inexpensive as well, for a hand made product. Very satisfied the one time I've shopped there.

I'm not sure that I like reading that ebola isn't super dangerous to the US because it kills its population faster than it can spread.

Though the day that thing figures out airborne transfer, we are in deep doo-doo.
