I'm not sure about alternating, but our combined families are distinctly segregated. My wife had 2 sisters, I had a brother, her sister has 2 boys, I have 2 boys, my brother has 2 girls.

I've never had one of those alcoholic ice cream drinks. They serve them here in town. How have I never had one?
