My dads side buys for the kids in high school and younger, grandparents, and grandma gets everyone something small (candy, scratch tickets, maybe one other thing), but thats it. Totally fine with everyone.

There was a couple years, where we almost had to bring to vehicles for presents alone, so big changes in the last 10 years.

We also tried our best Birdy last night with the kids. LittleWx was great until he decided he didn't like frosting...debating getting a DNA test now. LilMissWx....well she thought it would be more fun do her usual climbing on the table, spin the light over the table and add on dumping sprinkles on the floor.

Z has been having a lot of fun with school projects. She told me last night that she was given M&M to decorate her cookie, but she made sure to take them off. I told her I was really proud of her for doing it.

(M&Ms always warn 'may contain peanuts)

"Partake" does not always mean the same as "take part." Depends on the context. Just use regular words and stop being pretentious. Geez, people. You make me think you're happy to eat someone.

I gave LM a bit of the bark from an almond bark pretzel and that was a mistake. Every night we get home now he points to the container (even when it moves JFC) and signs for more. Dances back and forth on his little feet with an excited grin. Then I have to bite off bits of pretzel bark to give to him. So far he does pretty well when I say all done. Child stole the last bite of my sugar cookie last week when I was trying to let him have sprinkles. Definitely has his mother's sweet tooth.

I thought the Wintersteen's did a nice job with this yrs greetings from ISU. I had never seen the top of the Campanile that I remember.

Not exactly sure.
Son could have made some money in his calc class this semester. One dude always got a 100 on test and would do the xtra credit to score 105 and stop any grading scale movement. Everybody was mad as this person but had no idea who it was, except the son figured it out about 2/3rds through. Seriously, if it’s that easy, why not test out or something to get done sooner or make life easier?

I thought exams were curved based on the whole cohort of people taking calc at that time across sections. Pretty sure that's how it worked in 2011ish

Need to get a gift for the wife. No ideas at this point.

Stopped to eat supper with the family minus daughter. Saw an old HS/college(same major)/work interned with friend that I hadn’t seen in 15-20 years. Maybe a hair longer. Neither of us had any kids last time we talked and now we both have 3, if not for her folks I may have not recognized her. Nice time chatting with her.
