Just got done blowing out mine and my moms driveways. Not warming up and trying to thaw out. Wind is nasty when you live on the NW corner of town.
 
Drove from Ottumwa to Altoona. Roads were fine until about Pella, and then they got a bit more iffy around the "sanitary" landfill. (There's a sign that says exactly that) Got even iffier as I went west. Not "Oh my goodness, close all the roads, etc.", but I'm not venturing out to Johnston to see in-laws this afternoon/tonight. And it's not necessarily me scared of the roads, it's me scared of other drivers either a) laissez-faire about the roads, or b) people too scared of the roads.

how's the snow going here?


Neighbor blew out his driveway about 10:30 this morning.

By about 3pm he was running a snowmobile up and down it (and the yard as well).
 
Only going to get a couple of inches here but it is starting to blow. Should be fun since we are going to Beauty and the beast at TCR. LittleWx is staying at my parents tonight and we still want to make it to church tomorrow (gotta stay on the good side until I find out on these jobs right?). One of the tires on the equinox has something in it so in the mean time I tried to put air in it today. Apparently when it is this cold the gas stations air pumps don't work...so I did it with a bike pump.
 
I'm at the ku Davidson game. Just waiting for the booing to start, you can feel it building with every call that goes against ku.

I have figured out that they don't know what the bonus or lane violations are.

Mmm, now I'll have to go into that thread again. Checked out of the thread and the game at halftime . Checked back and saw we won and looked at a couple stupid posts...same old Prohm hating Euctachy/Hoiberg knob slobbers that we freakin' after the Iowa game, so checked out again.
