I had wanted to take Z to the MBB game, but she fell asleep on the 8 minute drive home. She didn't wake up well, so I canceled. I am not sure if I should take her tomorrow or not.

Of course you should it's Cyclone basketball need to keep her indoctrinated. :)

A weird ripoff of Malcolm in the Middle

The little one even looks a little bit like Dewey.

All of the cool Twin Cities alumni kids were at Surly's last night for the Cyclone reception.

Conspicuously absent: Clonee, Velo, Pants and Riley. So, we trash talked you.
I forgot about it but Mrs. Velo is sick anyway. She don a wanna go no where...and I know better than to go out and leave her stuck with the kids.

History post of the day. 41 years ago today was the fateful sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Had to go to youtube and listen to Gordon Lightfoot's tribute to the fallen crew.
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down of the big lake they call Gitchi Goomie...love that song...

Amazing note in the EF wiki page,

Fitzgerald is among the largest and best-known vessels lost on the Great Lakes[65] but she is not alone on the Lake Superior seabed in that area. In the years between 1816, when Invincible was lost, and 1975, when Fitzgerald sank, the Whitefish Point area had claimed at least 240 ships.

No, she'll learn how to cheer for all the players, not just the starters, she can start to say Stuuuu! Stuuuu!

More than likely, we'd just be running laps in the concourse because the game stinks and can't hold her (or probably my) interest.

She'd cheer for Stu if she were nearby, but there's not much chance of that.
If it were a good game, she'd sit and watch with me the whole time.

I think we need new uniforms.

The average age of a combat soldier in Vietnam was nineteen.
