I thought for sure that this thread was going to be Random Thoughts Nein.
Ashamed to say that I had to google that date. I was mentally smacking my forehead when I saw what it was.
Oh, I had to doublecheck the actual date to make it like the other doodles they showed...but my most vivid memory of 13 was sitting with Daddy watching Uncle Walter (we were back in Washington by then).

Z and I watched (most of) the Cubs rally, and now we're droning through the post-rally time.
Some obnoxious interviewer guy is talking to fans. He's talking to some young guy, and asked if he went before leaving home.
Z is looking down at a toy she's playing with, and her head snapped up when the interviewer said "Always tinkle before you leave home."
That's right, buddy. Potty training is everywhere.

I was watching my wife and daughter play each other in chess last night. They basically know how the pieces move, but they both have incredible tunnel vision and zero concept of strategy.
Pieces were constantly being left woefully unprotected and neither of them would do anything about it. At one point, their queens were facing one another, 4 squares away from each other, both unguarded, and they each took two more turns moving their pawns one spot.
Golf analogy: It would be like hitting your second shot 2 inches from the hole on a par five, taking out your driver onto the green and crushing the ball into the parking lot.

hahahahha. This is great. I don't like parking in spots right next to those curby things anyway but it looks like no one likes to drive around to the next row.
Quite the opposite. They are all smart. Everyone pulls through (look at the direction the cars are).
oh I wasn't laughing at the cars, I was laughing at WDSM making the pic with the giant her spot circle. Didnt notice the cars were pulling through. I do that too otherwise I end up being kind blocked in when I go to leave and to reverse and all that jazz. Like being able to drive right out.
Gotcha. Yeah I prefer to pull through so I don't have to back out. Especially after getting hit while backing out.
Been a rough day over here. Two sisters were killed in a car accident. One is a current student of my mother's and the other is a former student.

I like to loop around the top right and pull in there and as I usually stay later then I can just drive straight out.
There's nothing sexier than someone complaining about a parking spot in a basically empty lot for a few days in a row. Get the wine coolers ready @CloneinWDSM, I'm coming for ya.
