Went to niece's musical, it was a updated version of Cinderella. She played the not so evil step sister to Cinderella. Auditorium was pretty full, they usually get a pretty good attendance. By being an updated version they couldn't advertise the name of the play, but attendance was still solid.

sounds similar to the version we saw up here. A stepsister was wanting to date a guy who wasn't good enough so she and Cinderella bonded over that

Yep that's the one, he becomes Prime Minister the prince and Cinderella get married in the end. Their version was fairly heavy on humor and some fun one liners. It was one of the more complex sets that they have used, stage crew got a work out in this one.

Full aviation day for us. I am going to an open house for the employee flying club and then we are all heading up to Independence for a good ol fashion pumpkin drop.

Dude, get the Tomcat "Jaws of Death", the P-40 Warhawk of mouse traps.

The meeces were steeling the peanut butter from my old style traditional traps. Setting them lighter just got them snapping my own fingers. Enter the Tomcat. Sets with a push lever and has a little recessed bowl for bait that the critters can't steel from. Easy push on the lever drops the mouse into the body bag.

Swing over east and drop some on the Manchester runway.

Never landed at the airport but back in high school I was riding with some kids who drove onto the then grass runway and raced down it and them slammed on brakes sliding out of control on the grass to keep from running into the trees and creek on the northend. It's in my top three scariest/stupidest rides. 16-year old boys and their 1960's big block V-8s.

Playing at Slinger next week. Northwest of Milwaukee, about an hour and a half away. Someone said that all games next week have to be played on turf, but I'm not sure how true that is.

Well, being that it's Big Ten scheduling, I'm assuming it's the first time they've played Northwestern in Evanston since you were in first grade.
I would have thought so too. But they've played 5 times in Evanston since then (including this year) so I think that's about once every three years. Which is better than I thought it would be.
