Worked yesterday from 4pm - 7:30pm. Back in by 1am and still sitting here. These weekends are getting completely out of control. I think my last weekend not at work was the Baylor football
game.

Hope the weekend thing gets going better for you RGR8.

NWICY travel report seen a low of -24, 8 stalled or being towed semis, 1 big pick up that wasn't running right (35 on a clear interstate), 1 rav 4 type suv that the person didn't know how to drive (also about 35 on clear interstate) 0 vehicles in ditches. Stopped 4 lunch after work won a $20 gift card for the restaurant I ate at by picking a spot on the FB board. Interstates were all good except for the off ramps.

Got called back at 4pm because they had to back out everything from last night. Sitting in the office just waiting for the ok to get out of here and to the bar.
This Anheuser Busch account is not worth any amount of money. I'm ready to switch to a different beer.

Going to try a clam chowder tonight. With some shrimp too. Thanks gr8 for the recipe. I've mixed it with a couple others so we'll see how it goes

Funny you say that, because I'm trying to make lobster bisque tonight.
The recipe I gave CG is for a Shrimp Bisque. Hopefully she is happy with it.

we did one a couple summers ago that had those things plus potatoes and diced tomatoes in it. Very good.

Seafood chowder is good.

Hey, @jcyclonee, sharing the joy of being a fed with you. Went to my agencies holiday "awards program" over lunch yesterday. It's basically the official holiday party but has to include business like the year end speech and some awards (guys back from deploying in Afghanistan, a whole slew of folks who spent months down in Louisiana on housing mission after the floods). Anyway, since we were not at the district office, I noticed we had a St. Paul police officer for security. Heard we had some protesters recently that included some folks who tried to breach our security. Office has been on lock-down more then normal. Some of the people trying to get past security have reputations as not always wanting to keep things peaceful like most of the other protesters. And of course they are protesting something that isn't even within the jurisdiction of my old office but we are more conveniently located.
We recently had our annual awards ceremony. You need official business, approval of the chief judge and definitely no alcohol. They've really increased the security at our building over the last year. I'm not even sure I should be allowed in there anymore. At our ceremony, there was a trivia contest and the chief judge had counted that there are 25 grass mounds in front of our building for security. Nobody believed there were that many and several people went out and counted them.

The heat isn't working in my ghetto store location. The building is owned by the city, so of course it took them four days just to respond to set something up for a heat guy to come out. Met him at 7am today and he can't even access the unit from my store. Needs to get into the store next door. Which of course is empty. So the city needs to come out to let him in. Hopefully this will be fixed before March.
