these need to. Certain people need to be here certain portions, need to have certain material ready to go at certain times. This is about the third time we've had this set of meetings and it's always been better when we know what the hell is going on.
I only hit small children, wounded animals and the blind. Women are off limits.
I've never understood the hate on Flo. The commercials are stupid, but I don't have a problem with her. She was fine in her bit role in Mad Men.
I also don't understand the hate of the new KFC colonel. People are constantly saying how creepy he is, and I don't get that either. I almost feel like people are only saying that because it's the "thing to do."
It's probably because I listen to Iheart radio all day and she is on every commercial break. Her radio ads are 100x more annoying than her TV ads.
The colonel is just weird. I think people have built up the old one so when this new colonel got released, he seemed creepy.
I wish I could like this 100 times. Right up there with her is the radio spokesperson for BK "croissanwich" that I hear 3-4 times every morning on my way in to work.
The one I don't like is Lily from the AT&T commercials. I guess she is a successful comedienne, but I think she really does a poor job playing the part and is irritating as hell.
WDSM is right - the radio commercials are worse for Flo because they are SO.DAMN.FREQUENT (and repetitive).
As for the KFC colonel, the first time I heard him laugh I thought it sounded like Pres GW Bush's laugh...and I always thought the former President's laugh was creepy. So nope. Not a bandwagon hater on him.
My problem with all of them is that they repeat so frequently. Watch three straight hours of tv and you will see duplicated ads constantly, sometimes even back to back.
When I see a face constantly pop up on the screen I get really tired of it, especially when the spokesperson has been signed to a multiyear contract.

Well, the colonel is the same actor that portrayed W. on SNL, so that's not too much of a stretch.
Yes and with the perfect tone and visual takes that make the commercials entertaining and a little clever. Love Lily but still hate AT&T.

Yes, I expected this. Many are dazzled by pretty baubles but they are still just hollow glass.
