Random Thoughts IV

DH has said that more than once. I tell him it's that my brain moves so fast. One time I went through and explained how I got from thought A to B to C, and while it did make sense then, I think he no longer wanted that glimpse into the inner workings of my brain.

You and I have a lot in common. In fact, PapaLew & I even have a catch phrase for it: "toot-toot"...meaning my train jumped tracks and left him behind.

What he really hates is when we're driving somewhere and a conversation ends, and we're both listening to music or watching the scenery, but I'm thinking about different things, and I'll suddenly blurt out a comment or question that is out of left field, and expect him to know what I'm talking about. :)

As for leftovers - cooking in volume for teeenage boys is a hard habit to overcome. We still cook too much, and we have leftover nights or take leftovers to work for lunch.

I've been so used to feeding two, that now Z's a bottomless pit I am thrown off on meal count. For example, Tacos used to be three meal times and now they are two. Or guessing how many veggies or snacks you would need.

Ooh, Ooh I know the answer to the veggie/snack one. A. As many as Z wants as long as they are healthy snacks.:)

Aiight, full disclosure, I been kinda grumpy with the 'getting to first shift' situation I've mentioned a few times and the prospect of not seeing my son much during the week once he starts kindergarten in less than a month.

Knob got cranked a little higher today when the guy who replaced me as manager put in his 2 weeks....so I presume I'll be filling in until they hire a new guy...gonna be more stress, more probable grumpiness for me. Sorry in advance if I'm a sour sumbitch for the next while.

If you're the churchin' type, I could use a few prayers as well.
