best part was we discovered this when going to put a load of sheets into the dryer. So we've been trying to dry those for a couple days now. Wish we had started with something smaller that could fit on the drying rack.

Make DH run around outside with them held over his head until they're dry. This can be his punishment for being such a pushover.

I bet my sister $20 that she would end up playing her old team in Cincinnati next week. There are over 200 teams, but she wouldn't take the bet. I'm ****** now because I would have won $20....

1) Never great to get that "Where are you?" wake-up phone call 22 minutes after you're supposed to be there.
2) Excuse the ignorance, but what was the problem with a post-baling shower? Is it something men only feared? I know I loved the post-push mow/rake/bag shower enough that I ALMOST miss it.

Pin them to your curtains, then prop them out a bit with a coathanger or something similar so that they don't lay right against the curtains. Or hang them over your shower curtain. :)

no curtains yet, only one shower rod, and we have been using that. They're getting dry but it would have been much better had we A. been doing just normal clothes or B. they installed it sometime during the past three weeks that it's been sitting here

I thought Nickels helped you pick curtains over a week ago?

Well, for me, a shower didn't come until I was already cooled down, so that part wasn't a plus...but also, the amount of dirty you get baling hay is orders of magnitude greater than mowing. It was like, start at the top, work down, then re-do the whole thing to get what ya missed the first time.

All this farm talk makes me want this as my next Porsche. Actually saw a couple this weekend.

I take bedding to the laundromat a lot anyway, especially huge comforters. Or borrow a friend's dryer for a day or two.

And...really...it's truly an ISU message board when Porsche vs. Lamborghini is a tractor argument.

I remember old Johnny Poppers in farmyards with a big old belt running off of the pulley when I was a little kid. Didn't want to get anywhere near that flopping spinning belt.

Hah...that reminds me of when I was in HS, we went to the farm progress show in IL, because it was near where one of my uncles lived. The John Deere 2 cylinder club had a display. We were looking at them and this group of Asians comes up along side of us. They started talking, and it was 5-10 seconds of stuff I couldn't understand at all, but at the end, in this Asian accent was "Poppin' Johnny!"
