They're like a doughnut but a thousand times better. It's a Portuguese doughnut, essentially, but the dough inside is more doughy and the outside is crispier.

Back from bike ride and am going to reward myself a walleye sammich out at Lake Minnetonka.

Good new: Ride was pretty easy. No rain. No crazy wind. Limited number of ******** trying to kill me.

Bad News: Chafing has happened. No likey this development.

Wow getting caught up on the last day or so. A little somber today as a year ago today a co-worker died while tubing in the skunk river in Ames.

I was creeping on one of their instagrams a while back and saw you on there from the ISF

I do that to as I catch the show live from maybe 6:45 to 8:25 which is only a couple of segments and the daily phone tap which everyone at work stops working to listen to. Yeah I was like fourth in line to see them at the State Fair (was hoping the whole gang would be there).

Just sliced myself a piece of carrot cake that I had for my little family get together for my birthday and had to spit it out. I have no idea what happened to it but it tastes rotten. It looks perfectly fine.

But I thought even the cake part was nasty. Maybe the frosting was bad and it just left such a terrible taste in my mouth that I couldn't tell.
