Anyone tried the 4 new flavors of lays chips? Just tried the truffle fires and biscuits and gravy. Truffle fries were okay, and biscuits and gravy weren't terrible but were just kind of bland. Not a fan of gyros and Reubens so not touching those flavors.
If by "making preparations" you mean thinking about maybe going to the grocery store, then yes.
I think I saw it was a category 2 at some point, but don't think it will even be hurricane status by the time it hits. The tropical storm will smash into Hilo on the Big Island and the mountains will break it up. You can see the weather patterns already slightly starting to change here, though.

Just popped the hinged top of my birdfeeder open to refill it and was greeted by a couple dozen ****** off wasps. I have decent retreat speed for an old guy and demonstrated it! I hate wasps. They seem to love my place.
Duct taped a putty knife on the end of a long pole and scraped their nest off the underside of the lid. Didn't want to put nerve death spray on it since I don't know how that might effect da birds. I hate wasps and rabbits, not birds.

I have US Cellular. Unlimited talk and text plus 5gb data. It's an old plan they don't offer anymore. Verizon and AT&T suck in my area. I use about 3gb a month. If I were to update my plan to unlimited t+t and 3gb, it would $90 before fees and taxes.
Yeah, Verizon is the only one worth having out here. If you look at all of the Hawaii coverage maps, they get pretty awful.

Mines USCellular as well. Unlimited talk text and 10GB for $80 a month.
On verizon's no contract plan, I pay $45 a month for unlimited talk and text, 2G of data.
Not a chance that flies with someone his age. Sometimes it's a struggle just to get mine under the 3gb I pay for, and I don't stream or anything and have mine connected to wifi 80 percent of the time.
