So I'm a little confused here. I got snarked at because I was unaware that someone was in the hospital. And yet I'm seeing these conversations. Disconcerting at best...

Also, they're typically more visibly appealing as well, as they usually have gardening, a fountain, etc in the middle.

There's also reports (not saying it's all true because I'm not going to get cave-like) that it's more environmentally friendly. Less cars sitting there idling for longer periods means less carbon emissions into the environment.

that's actually what I've found I like about them, the pretties in the middle. But I'll have to go through three right in a row when we move. All brand new and waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than what it was before - it now goes under the newly expanded to four lanes road instead of intersecting with it and you wait a solid 5+ minutes to gun it across.
