Random Thoughts IV

I always thought calf was gender neutral too.

I would really recommend eating six small meals a day, or at least looking at portion sizes. I have lost weight easily only doing that.

I have never liked rhubarb. My grandma had it growing by her garage and she mostly made crisps out of them.

Starting last Friday, I have been working out on my lunch hour. So I am losing 15 minutes of class time, but at least I am getting something done. It seems like such an annoyance to get back to work all red and sweaty though.

I'll be happy to go back to my normal time.

When I was a kid I didn't like the cooked rhubarb deserts (crisps, pies, etc), but I would eat it raw dipped in sugar. It was awesomely tart. Now I like rhubarb deserts any way I can get them :)

This. Random thoughts are truly random. Feel free to share yours, JM4CY. :)

Random but with repetitive themes going back 10's of thousands of posts.

Others can fill you in themselves. Me? I am just the old dude with the weakness for pies (less in 2015 it seems), a taste for wine and animated gifs. Post the appropriate Emily Blunt gif and I am giving "likes".

Research the RT threads for:

Strong like hockey mom
Rum Brooky
Baby Pineapples
Bananas
Narwhals
BBQ
Swagwagons
Stalking

Oh, and how many Army style pushups can you do in 2-minutes? This was once relatively important here although maybe biking is this summers pushups?

The story of Rum Brooklyn is one that goes back possibly before the beginning of time.

oh and that time we named 00 Carl and he mailed stuff to Pants. And wxman had a baby. Well, he didn't but you know what I mean.

Ames is getting one round about (?) this summer. They will be closing the corner of Airport Rd and Univ. Blvd. next week. I wonder how it will work out.

I always assumed CG and DH would name a boy calf Angus and a girl calf Charolais, since the royals went and pushed Charlotte to be all the rage.

lol, I think I'd have to go dairy breeds! Maybe Ayrshire or Jersey for a girl and Montbeliarde for a boy.

This reminds me...I was reading Twitter, trying to figure out a final score for an area high school team. The baseball and softball team were playing at the same time, so I was looking at the players' names mentioned. Problem? They were ALL gender-neutral. Tristan, Casey, Dakotah, Cameron....

Then, duh. Look at the hashtag... #iahsbb

They started putting a few in around our neighborhood a couple of years ago. Although I resisted change at first I have come to really like them.

To avoid confusion, we've named our 3 kids Sports, Flower and Shopping.

The email they sent to the research park almost made sound like the city was thinking of two more, but they weren't very clear on it.
