Well, I'm pizzing everyone off this weekend (although, things seem to be on the mend with Mrs.). 2.5 YO has been hesitant to give up the binky. Mrs. and I talked about it 'getting broken' this weekend, but hadn't made definite plans.

Welp, when 00clone accidentally wraps it up into the tin foil for the potato packet that he put on the grill...that'll prevent any further discussion of it....littlest 00clone is pretty heartbroken about now.
My son never wanted a pacifier. He was kind of an odd baby. When you fed him his bottle, you had to keep eye contact with him the whole time. If you looked away for a second, he would make noises in complaint (and cry if you did not re-establish eye contact). Also, as soon as he was able (maybe at 3 months?) he wrestled the bottle from us and would hold it himself so that he could tilt it all the way up and chug it down faster.

The funniest thing was that when he would finish the bottle, he would toss it clear accross the room. That's right, not drop it, toss it with both hands. He would then proceed to immediately fall asleep. We use to laugh about this all the time.

7pm on a Saturday and I'm debating making a pb&j sandwich. I didn't choose the rockstar life, the rockstar life chose me.

Grilling with Huey Lewis and the News

I know what I like
I love Huey Lewis and the News. They're actually coming for a concert in Frisco, TX that I was debating attending. However, the headliner for the concert is Jimmy Buffet and I can't stand those ******* parrotheads and their RV's all over the place. I might have to pass this time.

I'm watching cyclones.tv on tv and they're showing our Big 12 tourney highlights. It's bringing back memories. We had incredible games last year.

Boxster, I know I'm not one of the ladies, but Mrs. Velo makes an awesome rhubarb cobbler. I'm out of town but I'll have to get you the recipe. She also makes a rhubarb jam that my 7 year old prefers over anything else on his PB&J. His dad kinda likes it as well. If you end up with too much rhubarb, let me know and I will buzz down and take some off your hands with a jar or two for your trouble.
