Well, his blanket was on the counter just next to where I was making the potatoes, so I'm guessing it was laying on the counter (since binky and blanket are never far apart), and as I rolled the packet to fold it up, apparently, I got it caught up in the tin foil.

Alternately, it was put there by God, much like the bible.

Eventually, yes, but for the most part, the 'best if used by' date is only indicative of flavor quality.

I wanted to try and get rid of the 2yr old's pacis this week while hubby was gone (so it was only me having to deal with it) but hubby wanted to wait to take them away. She only has them in bed.

I defer all rhubarb baking questions to my sister. One thing I never acquired a taste for. She bakes with it quite a bit. But I don't think she reads this thread.

Had enough leftovers from lunch that we had it for dinner, too. One less meal to cook today--woohoo! Made a nice, light dessert called strawberries and cream. Graham cracker crust, a mixture of cream cheese, a little sugar, almond flavor, and real whipped cream. Top with sliced strawberries and a drizzle of chocolate.

Rhubarb question for the cooking gals.

Got a simple easy recipe for rhubarb crisp or something similar? I have rhubarb growing but no neighbors to give it too anymore so I think I need to make something myself. I used to get some pie or crisp back for being the supplier garden guy. Think challenge level 2 on a scale of 10.
