As a former co-worker used to say...with boys, you only have to try and control one horny little boy. With a girl, you have to worry about them all.

Well, that's what he said too, but in light of my slap upside the head yesterday, I was trying to phrase it a little better.
When we told people that the Dr wanted to set an inducement date if Z hadn't come by week 39, I was surprised how many people didn't think it was okay for her to be born on our anniversary. It wasn't a big deal to us, and realistically she had a minimal chance to be delivered that day anyway. Yet, many family members commented that it was nice she ended up with her 'own' day.
We didn't care. I even said we'd had 12 years together without, so I really don't think sharing would be an issue.

I suppose if it was really a huge issue you could look into the cost/viability of invitro......
But then that is still hoping for an X to get through.
My mom is two days older than my dad. Supposedly, the reaction was priceless when my dad told my grandma he was dating an older woman. Then, my FIL is a week older than my MIL.
We have major spurts with birthdays/celebrations. My parents' anniversary and our anniversary falls in that week between my FIL and my MIL, and then my sister's birthday is less than a week after my MIL.
Then, there's September. The "older" of my BIL/SIL ended up having three out of their four boys in September. When we found out last Easter the fourth was coming, we all exclaimed "Of course!" that they were due in September. Also include for September birthdays are my younger SIL, my older BIL, and my husband's stepdad.
From Thanksgiving time through December, it's my husband's grandma, the older SIL, my husband, then his stepmom, then the younger BIL.
Everyone have that straight? There will be a quiz later...

My dad told me almost the exact same thing when my boys were born.
With boys, you have to worry about one "little thing".
With girls, you have to worry about "all the little things".
I like the possibilities this has for you. If you can somehow flip the whole "who dictates the sex" scenario in your household, please teach me. I'll be your padawan.

My mom, my sister, my sister in law, and my future mother in law, are all dying to buy pink stuff for the girl baby and I have to deliver.
Just mass text everyone on New Years Day and wish them all a Happy Birthiversary for the year. Then tell them to save your text and remember you fondly on their special day.

I love practicing. I'm just two for two with boys and I don't want to end up like the Weasleys trying to get a girl.
Do I even want to know what that involves/costs? I think a friend told me that the shots before implanting were three digits or more them selves.
I don't know about the IVF side, but I would imagine that it would pretty much just be AI on people (which they do anyway). They do probably set the woman up to be ovulating or super-ovulating at the time of the insemination so yeah, a few shots.
The sorting would be done after "collection" and before "baby-making".
My niece just texted me. Biopsy results were benign!!!!!!!!!
