Ahh, yeah, I think Mrs. hadda do that. I saw the 24 hour thing, and was thinking, WX...you gotta get back to Iowa, them Kansas Dr.s is weirdos.
NOT only that, it's a very, VERY special Pi day...At 9:26:53 it will be supercharged Pi day to 10 digits! 3/14/15 9:26:53=3.141592653

I left work early and made a stop for Big 12 championship preparations. Got an awesome mix of beers for the game. Toppling Goliath, Surly, and Lagunitas, which are very popular beers from Decorah, Minneapolis, and California. CG, if New Glarus was available in Iowa, it'd have been in the mix.
But, I'm back now, but prolly everyone else is gone....:sad:

KC's cruise sailed out of Galveston, so south Bahamas may be right.
Headed up to Ankeny tomorrow to a friends' place to watch the game, which is where we watched last year's championship game.

Who else saw the major f'up on ESPN2 coverage when they had the Hawkeye logo up for us. Seriously, you are covering the Big 12 tournament. It was the 3yr old who pointed it out here. We were waiting for the game and she starts yelling "Hawkeyes!" Look at the tv and there is that stupid chicken head next to OU. Bet they got quite an earful after that mistake.

Oh, CW and other DSM media down there were tweeted about it, I know my husband tweeted mentioning ESPN about it. I believe someone mentioned some poor Friday night social media intern just had ESPN's timeline blow up.
Here's what grates me...how often does this happen between Michigan and Michigan State, or Florida and Florida State? I obviously don't watch their games as much as I do ISU, but I'm betting not as often for them as for us. The other thing is that no one in the control room either a) noticed it, or b) seemed to care to get it off screen. Pull it down and put up the generic Championship Week graphic. Ugh.

i already said I lived in my new yoga pants.
And considering my job is at home, I wear yoga pants or exercise pants 80% of the time. Or more. That is when I change out of my pj's, which most nights are exercise pants and a t-shirt.
Starting to think our Dr was overly cautious. We had to go to a high risk OB and have more ultrasound's than normal too.
Over cautious is fine when you are dealing with something like pre-e. The next experience (if there is one) may be different.
My OB with the last 2 was the same as Rev had, no pee samples throughout a regular pregnancy. I've never had to do a 24hr thing while pg, either. It was also nice not to be treated as "geriatric" or AMA (advanced maternal age)--he didn't believe in the out-of-date chart that said 35 was some magic number that came with significantly more risks.
The 1hr glucose test is standard. If you don't "pass", there is a 3yr glucose test but I never had to do that.
