Rev! I was just joking!

Continue prepping CG for what she's about to experience in 8 months.

welp, that baby is in trouble then. Cause I've been drinking tonight.

Revkah, can you take excedrin when you are pregnant? Birdy, too I suppose. I know lots of things are off limits. That's probably the only one I'd struggle with.

I'm not sure if it's the aspirin that works for me or not for the bad headaches, it might just be the caffeine which I know you're supposed to avoid but I imagine would be ok for a headache dose type of thing and not "I'm chugging coffee" thing.

Discuss with your OB. Try to avoid normal triggers if you can.

Not even sure if they are classified as migraines, but I can feel them coming on for several hours, and can usually tell if they will be taken care of with regular strength stuff or not. Yeah I have no idea what triggers them. Doesn't seem to be a certain food, day, amount of sleep. Well, ha, I know one thing but that won't be a problem during pregnancy. Yeah, it'll be something to talk about when we get to that point. Was just curious.

I wish I had more specific answers. I did limit myself to one caffeine drink a week or a small amount of tea in addition.

oh no worries, I'm just asking general stuff. There is no need to know anything for sure yet. I'm sure I'd have a whole spreadsheet if there were a need ;)

Tylenol only during prego (no ibuprofen). After birth ibuprofen is allowed.

I couldn't remember. Most first appointments are to introduce you to the OB's nurse and they hand you a packet to read. Then they see you at 10-12 weeks along I think.

I feel like the stuff I read (calm you pants, pants and 00, I've read baby stuff for years, I find it interesting) they do a visit at 6-8 weeks and then ultrasound at the 10-12?

Differs between Doctors/health plan/ and if they can pick up the heartbeat at 12weeks with the normal device.

It varies. I think more are trending to not want to see you (as long as you aren't too miserable) until the 10 week mark. Then there is always the fun of doing the 24 hour urine collection.

Holy cow I'll be glad when we get a break from playing B12 teams. It's really hard to watch all these close games. Beat KU tomorrow and onto the NCAA's. Sorry to interrupt the maternity thread. Don't worry CG getting knocked up tonight is OK just need to knock off the booze once your preggers. I'm sure statistically this statement might be wrong but booze and babies have went together for a long time. In 9 months from this weekend check the ISU fan PG rate I bet it goes up lots of little boys being named Fred, Georges, Monte.

hold on now, I'm not getting pregnant any time soon.

I wonder what the human preg rate is. 20% is good for a herd. But people don't have herds.
