Random thoughts III

very random, but I'm noticing bits of glitter on my (upper!) chest this morning. I saw a piece on DH's neck yesterday and there was one on my hand today too. The last time we handled glitter was probably Christmas. I'm feeling very Edward-esque.

DH is right. Glitter is the herp of craft stuff.

Protip: DH was at the t***y bar when you weren't looking.

Contrary to common belief, stupid can be fixed as long as it is acute stupid and not chronic stupid.

Also, only with some State Department employee's timely assistance.

Ahh....Boxter forgot to renew his passport for the upcoming trip to Mehico.

I need a travel nanny, a Swedish travel nanny.

I was registering for my trip under the State Department Smart Traveler program Saturday and did a WUT double take on my passport expiration of 2/8/15. Smart Traveler, not, Dumb Traveler although if I hadn't done this I might have shown up at the airport with an expired passport and eaten a pricey yet non-refundable non-transferable ticket. Ack!

Would have been screwed without a local issuing office only 4 miles from my house, the next nearest is Chicago. Should have a new passport to pickup on Wednesday or Thursday. State Department local employees are feeling the love from me.

My parents were in town this weekend. During lunch yesterday, we were talking about movies. My parents are in their 80s and really do not like cursing, BTW.

Mom tells me that they saw one movie a while back that they were "not impresed with". She says, "We really like that Jennifer Anniston, but we had to walk out of this one. Oh, what was it called?"

My dad, "Horrible Bosses"

I did my first spit-take ever. I really wish I could have witnessed my parents' reactions after that first scene with Jennifer Anniston and Charlie Day.

I was going to text him this. I think it's in an article of clothing of mine somehow and that's where it's showing up. I thought I donated the last of my high school glittery shirts though, so I'll need to look again.

Hah...I didn't even know the grammy's were on.

Random: You know what I find frustrating? People that say "fusstrating"

Yes, yes, YES! Mrs. Velo grew up doing this and I have only mentioned it to her once. I know better than to remind her of it when she is 'fusstrated', because it won't go well for ol' Velo.

My old boss used to say flustrating all of the time. Drove me nuts. He would also pronounce kiosk as kiosh.

CG, I have to admit that I was also immediately thinking down that road when reading your original glitter post. Tell DH to be more careful.

Thank God, Boxster. I assume this is the cryptic screw up you posted about earlier. I'm so glad it is working out for you!

Feb-you-ary gets me every time.

I will admit to occasionally slipping and talking about cimmanon buns... Lapse from my childhood. :)
