so she wasn't a moron? DH looked at Belarus' page and didn't see alternate spellings. But that would seem to explain it in that there link. Still, who doesn't call it Belarus?

You said ancient tribe so she was probably thinking of Belarus' history so she went with what is used to be called and only got half the name

If it's properly transliterated, what we see as an "e" in the Russian alphabet would be a "ye" in English.

you are like the ultimate lurker. You just pop up with relevant posts and then disappear again. But it definitely makes sense that a Jeopardy winner would think too much into it vs. just being like "I'm going to spell this however I darn well feel"

but that trophy, you guys.

you should tell us what cute things Miss Z did today.

While waiting on my car today, some little girl came up to me and is like "Hi there.....hi! it's me!" like I should have known who she was. It was pretty funny.

She was pretty calm today. Thursday is more of our running day. I don't leave much for the Friday crew.

She loved the yard yesterday. We played out there, came back in for lunch, and she was ready for more.
She stood at the door, pointed outside, and looked, so I asked if she wanted to go outside.
She brought me her shoes, we put them on. She went and got mine, so I put them on. Then I worked to keep her from playing in the street.

The girl is sharp. No sense of fear, but really sharp.

ha, as to the bolded - my boss was saying yesterday that when playing outside, the biggest challenge is keeping the 10 month old from eating rocks. That's adorable that she brought the shoes.

How can a movie with Charlize Theron in it be as bad as A Million Ways to Die in the West. I love Charlize but I just channel flipped into this movie again and it is freaking' awful!
It was a Seth McFarlane self love fest. I like some of his stuff, but his arrogance is pretty ridiculous at times.

Hey, what was the thread from last night that y'all were talking about?

I'll be back next week. Don't worry.
