When we lived out in the country a few years ago, we didn't have a mound, we were a slight hill. Looking at google maps right now and the place doesn't have the traditional mound.

the ones around us vary - some are pretty well blended into the landscape. Just depends on the soil test - there are a few in the neighborhood who don't have the mound system.

cowgirl> There are certain times you're allowed to be "those" people. As long as you weren't foaming at the mouth angry, demanding the new tile should be here and installed by tomorrow, you aren't being unreasonable at all.

Yay for wood flooring working out!

CG, I'm w/Sara on this shades of tan and brown is not burnt orange. Put that orange tile in you might as well call that room "our salute to Texas".

oh no! Not that way at all. We checked to make sure the new one will work since it'll take a couple days to order and we didn't want to hold things up. I felt so bad about it but the lady is like "you do not want orange". She had actually been out to the house and saw the tops of the boxes before we opened a couple - said she thought it was just a shadow or something. So then she was trying to apologize and I'm like it's not your fault. No one could see the exact boxes until we had them and opened them up. It wasn't anyone's fault, just bad luck.

ha, it's actually called Aztec so I can see it working quite well for a southwestern design. But it wasn't quite the soft neutral beige we were going for!

can't beat last night though

if cycopath finds that woodpecker thread, it might.

Though I love fitzy's post being the last one in that thread. And the post that it was, seemed a fitting end.

That thread was gold.

How can a movie with Charlize Theron in it be as bad as A Million Ways to Die in the West. I love Charlize but I just channel flipped into this movie again and it is freaking' awful!

Careful, you're gonna get onna wrong side of pantsy talking like that.

I am all good, grilled salmon and spicy rice tonight. Oh, and popped a bottle of Rodney Strong 2010 Pinot.

My diet, less the mass consumption of wine, is actually pretty good. I eyeballed the apple pie at Byerly Foods earlier this evening and passed on the purchase!

My parent's were supposed to come down and help us moven but my dad had a minion get sick and he couldn't leave. So we are down two hands and are supposed to be on the road in 12 hours.

We still have 3-4 more hours of truck packing/cleaning left.

Oh yuck.

I'm sure a whole slew of us here in RT would come down and help if we could. Cybirdy can bring refreshments.

I hope things will go faster than you think.

This is not what the powers that be at TPIR envisioned when they said they were giving away a car.

oh yeah, so final Jeopardy was about some ancient tribe in Europe that was three letters. Those three letters are present in two countries - the most vast, and this one.

Category was European History. So Russia is the most vast, so Rus was the tribe name, I'm like it's Belarus!

One chick had her answer as Byelorus.

SHE WON!

SHE'S WON THREE DAYS IN A ROW!

HOW DO YOU WIN THAT MUCH ON JEOPARDY AND NOT KNOW HOW IT IS SPELLED??!??!

Someone clearly didn't take hooked on phonics.

also, they showed the Tank getting this award tonight.........I said to DH "that's an odd trophy"

He looked up and burst out laughing. Seriously, what is up with that trophy? Makes that CyHawk corn trophy look topnotch.
