Just renewed my plates, due 3 weeks ago. I could've went to the DMV today to get the sticker but I'm sure the line was out the door being the last day of the month, and it costs $3 more than if you do it online. It only takes about a week for the sticker to show up in the mail, just hope I don't get pulled over in that time. I can print my new registration now at least.
We were once. Just showed them the email receipt that we’d ordered and paid for it before the deadline.

Oh and my mom hinted that I should run for school board as well.

There is a no gratitude job. I think you do get free admission to your school's athletic events as a perk though. (at least that was my Dad's only benefit)

Is jogging in Walmart a thing? Was in the produce section around 7 this morning getting our garlic and cilantro for making salsa today and here comes this gal in workout clothes just jogging. She went past the check out aisles. Thought maybe she was had to go to the bathroom or something but she cruised right by them. Strange.
It's Walmart and it's climate controlled probably nicer than jogging outside?

Wife of some friends of ours told my wife that on their way home from Clear Lake they listened to a podcast about menopause. My wife was like, “If I had been in that car, I would told them to pull over so I could get out.”

Over half of Linn-Mary’s board is up this year and it will be high contested by the right so a lot of people are worried. I would have a decent chance due to connections and recognition.

Wx tough yr at Oshkosh 4 dead in plane crashes, is that fairly close to normal? There is a lot of air traffic there.

Was first Monday of the fiscal month.

Good lord. From the time I put my bottom in my seat at 7:45a until I left at 6:15p, it was nearly non-stop. (Half an hour lunch break was all I got) My wrist hurts from all the mouse clicking.

Father Mulcahy from MASH is on a episode of Hogan's Heroes. recognized the voice immediately.
That realignment thread was a tough one to catch up on it added 3 pages while I was catching up.

Thx for reminding me time to close out the month and send in my expense report.

Yes and no. We are going to have crashes/incidents every year. Just unavoidable IMO with that amount of traffic, we are still human, they are still machines, **** happens. Four is high especially four in a three hour timespan and the second incident was the first true mid air I have heard of there in a long time. Saturday was a rough day.

There are always numerous instances of landing gear failures (blown tires, collapsed struts etc.) either due to mechanical failures or pilot error (slamming it down, forgetting to put the gear down are the most common). In fact one day a bonanza had forgotten to put his hear down and was on short final so within a half mile or so from touchdown and the plane behind him noticed it and told him giving him time to go around to get it down and land safely. The second pilot was given a challenge coin by the tower and I hope a steak dinner by the bonanza pilot.

Yeah breakdowns I expect. The deaths that close together surprised me. But the law of averages always catches up.

Welcome back buddy been a while since I've seen a post from you
I just figured I would respond here lol. I still lurk from time to time, but travel like crazy for work now, was just gone 5 of the last 6 weeks, home this and next, then gone the next 4. Hard to find time to argue with people on the internet as my wife puts it.
