I had kind of a cold/headachey sort of thing yesterday, maybe a slight fever although I didn't take my temp.

Took a Nyquil before bed and it knocked me out pretty good and the 'fever' broke 1 amish.

It's weird how the fever breaking 'sweat out' is kinda gross but is also really relieving.

Those amish can’t take meds so fever could break them.

Dang the fog was thick on the way to work.
@wxman1 I assume you know the guys doing the flight to end polio trip? Sounds like a great adventure and they've done a heck of a job raising funds before even leaving. It was a good interview on WHO this morning.

Yup! We will be holding a pancake breakfast for their return on 7/30.

went to see MIL in hospital. She was sitting in the chair and I was the only one to realize that she thought she had the TV remote but had the chair one instead and was lifting herself up and then reclining herself a couple times. Had to avoid laughing as my wife thought she was just giving herself a little ride.

I've had it with going to my local Culver's for dinner. I waited 40 minutes. The problem is everyone gets food and ice cream, and with only 2 kids filling the ice cream orders, it backs up all the food orders. And then there's only 1 person bagging food. So all the food piles up on the counter waiting for ice cream.

I'll drive an extra 7 minutes to another Culver's next time.

The Clear Lake KFC/taco bell didn't have that problem, they just never waited on anyone. May be a big reason why it closed down.

Everyone here loves Culver's and it's the only one within 15 miles of another one, in a town of 40,000, and Beloit doesn't have an ice cream shop, so everyone goes there for ice cream. Also doesn't help that it's a small store.

If they opened another one they wouldn't have anyone to work it. You'd think they'd be enough people to work there with 2 high schools and a college. Other Culver's in a lot smaller towns are overstaffed most of the time.

They need to redesign it so drive thru orders and inside/carryout orders are separated.

It's because of people like this from Wisconsin.

Grrr, little teeny ants have reappeared on my kitchen counter. I gave them a couple of Terro stations to snack at. They should be gone in a day or 2.
