Being blunt here, that’s why they are working the signs. They are usually not the brightestA little on edge this morning now. Railroad has had a lot of maintenance of way machinery working in the area this week, and they don't activate the signals so the railroad has people with stop signs guarding the crossings.
On my way to work, equipment is coming through and the guy is holding the stop sign, so I stop. Then one of the equipment operators is waving me through, but the guy with the sign doesn't see him. I try to point at him saying the other guy is waving me through, and I start to go. Idiot jumps in front of my car so I hit the brakes and throw my hands up trying to point out the other guy is waving me through. A little more coordination would be nice there.
This is actually the second time I've had to hit the brakes for these guys. One of them pulled out in front of me the other day when they were going home for the day.Being blunt here, that’s why they are working the signs. They are usually not the brightest
Muggy! Overall good, I didn’t screw anything up and have a lot of things to improve on which is obviously expected.@wxman1 so how was reffing?
He just rolled in 15 to 20 minutes ago. It's 4:27 AM. He has to leave by noon to go BACK DOWN to Keokuk for a 4p resuming of the game. (And the likelihood of Ottumwa winning is slim) Soooooo.....the day's pretty much shot.Husband is currently down in Keokuk.
And it's raining. And lightning. A lot.
We have plans for late tomorrow morning. He may roll in by then.
At the very least, you need to bow over the car, observe a moment of silence, and then say something like "farewell, thou good and faithful servant".Make sure you give it the proper services. Regardless of what my wife says cars and shoes deserve a memorial service.
Dang it is nice out this morning.
