Only thing I (kinda) got is that my dad watched them film the parade scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off from his office building window. You can see his building as the three main characters are walking away after the parade.

On that chicago area trip when I went to Woodstock I went to all the Chicago suburbs shots from Hughes movies plus went to where Hughes was laid to rest to pay respect to a goat director/writer.

Ok, RTT'ers. Looking for some helap populating the new thread.
I usually wait until Hate Week but someone is trying to pass off a bootleg jury-rigged generic thread as the original.

If that's like shiplap, I'm out. That's so last year.
Otherwise, all the stars are in the right place for an official thread. Good job!

Got a new dental hygienist today. Twice she sprayed the left side of my head with the squirter thing. The second time she really hosed it down and somehow managed to get it right in my ear. When the water is running down the side of your head, it’s a bit much. Never had to wear sunglasses before also.

Since I switched laptops I haven't been able to get into my Giphy account so I've lost access to all my animated gifs :(

O noes!!! Maybe you'll regain access? That's a tragedy of historic proportions! Much like when the library burned at Alexandria.
I'm positive I know my ID but it wants an email address to log in and I can't get it to send me a link to reset my password

And I got a call to postpone my next appt because the "fill-in" hygienist wouldn't be there. Already knew my regular would be on vacation, so rescheduling for a substitute being out is new.
Back to @BCClone's predicament: maybe she noticed something that shouldn't have been where it was and she wanted to get it far away from her. The spray was water, wasn't it?

How long will the recovery be from the surgery? Do you have someone there to help you out?
Due to the nature of the surgery I'll be in the hospital 5-7 days so I should be in pretty good shape by the time I leave.
The reason being is due to swelling. I won't be able to eat the first few days so I'll be on an IV. Also if the swelling causes breathing issues they obviously have to be able to be right there to trach me if needed. He said Saturday would probably be the first day I can try to eat. Monday would most likely be the earliest I can leave as long as they feel the swelling has gone down enough to allow me to eat soft foods and not be in any danger of being able to breathe.

I think so. I can’t see the backside of my head. For some reason, this new hygienist reminded me of micheal Strahan
