I got fired from my first broadcasting job 3 times in 8 months. (The station manager was certifiable.) He rehired me twice, the third time I decided I'd had enough.

I was listening to that old Aerosmith song Sweet Emotion the other day and I got to thinking I bet most kids and young adults today have no idea what that phrase means. Haven't pregnancy tests always been done by peeing on a stick you bought at Walmart?
Hy Vee messed up scheduling my wife's second covid shot. She was supposed to have it on Thursday and get a heads up email 5 days prior to the appointment. She never got the email so she called and found out they never got her 2nd shot scheduled.
We got our email from Medicap for Monday appts for our second dose while we were out running errands. We decided to wait until we got home to make our appointments. Ummmmm...2.5 hours and they were already half gone! And then, stupid me, I forgot that I had to "sign" the form, and you can't do that on a computer when your monitor isn't a touch screen. So I had to back out of that and go fill the whole damn thing out on my phone anyway!
We were successful, though, and will get our second does on Monday afternoon. WOOT!!!
