I just got asked if automation could send an alert if the system was down
I told them that automation runs on the system so if the system is down automation is down

So then they ask, would it be able to check the network?

Now this was an event of which I had no prior knowledge so I can't answer any of their other moronic questions. Turns out someone had reconfigured IP and it was IP that failed, not the whole system being down.

People are so clueless.

At least you don't have to deal anymore with computers that have those cup holders that always seemed to break.

Things I spied with my little eye today. A man on a motorcycle, a convertible being driven down the road with the top down, kids in their driveway on bicycles, my 1st road bicyclist of the yr, but I'm pretty sure that dude bikes yr around I recognize him though don't know him, and a young lady wearing a halter top under a unbuttoned flannel shirt.

I knew it was going to be a good day when I started driving and Lynyrd Skynyrd's Sweet Home Alabama came on. Yes I sang and air guitared along.

Also final home WBB game tonight in Hilton at 630. Heck yes! If I hadn't been on the road all day and had to meet someone at 5 I would have went down and tailgated.

Went slow photography walkabout to test the tender right foot metatarsals. Saw not much. but foot didn't hurt too much and the cross country skiers are gone from the park so lots of paths for just me again.

This is my dad, like i'll go over there and eat with them every once in a while and he will save stuff that everyone is pretty ambivalent about. Like does anyone really want to eat that 6.5/10 food again after it's been frozen.
