I didn’t realize how much some of those kids suck until you see them as a coach. I now know if I spend more time with my youngest (least aggressive of all my three, needs to get mad once in his life) he will get plenty of playing time in HS.

Sad but when I looked to sub a kid in for one who fouled out I actually sighed and realized my only option was to put my kid in way out of position. I felt bad when I noticed what I did. I didn’t want to make it look like I was favoring my kid.

So, pretty much being a Dalmatian?

Flashback to 60 years ago and my dad driving an old Buick down gravel roads with Mike the Dalmatian running behind or along side of the car to burn up some excess Dalmatian energy. Also, since this was back in the day, let the dog run the hood a lot.
