Yeah - that's not "relaxing" for me. I like my lawn to look like Augusta and enjoy mowing.
90s with lows in the 70s that's not going to help the corn crop humans or livestock. So much better when it cools down at night.

They have backed the highs off from low 90s to high 80s for a lot of next week for my area. Not much but I will take it.
Had a nice rain earlier this morning. Slept in and missed the whole rain. Have not gone out to check the rain gauge yet, but looks like .5-1.0” , much needed. We keep getting just enough rain to get by. Now 90 degree this week will be stressful.
This was the first week it hasn't rained since April 1, 25" total in 11 weeks. Corn is OK but yellow short areas in every field and too wet to get in to side dress. Bean stands are fine except on terraces but they are short in height. Hay making is challenging but good production on grass hay not so much with alfalfa...too wet. Pasture growth is phenominal. With current grain prices, it will be a stretch to break even. Such is farming. We are SW of Creston, 15 miles from the Mo. line.
