How do you get them to catch the ball? Seriously do we have any coaches out there that have drills that would help these guys out. We drop more balls a year then any team I have seen. It's every year to. Not just this year. How do we get them to start catching the ball. It's pretty much there only job other than running down field and blocking.

We need the drill where they have to catch tennis balls out of the machine being fired at them. Leach had pretty good success with it.

They need to practice catching balls in the freezer at the local butcher shop.

You've got to catch the ball with your hands. If you let it come into your chest, like West did, a lot of the time its going to bounce off your pads and drop to the ground.

It costs us the games to. If we catch the ball the drive continues and we could have scored a touchdown on the west drop. It's so frustrating. Every time we get a recruit at receiver we get all excited because of the size and speed. Maybe nobody else was recruiting them because the kid can't catch either.

We have to have the worst WR corps in the BCS. Until I see proof otherwise, I will believe that.

There is no question on WRs, they don't catch the ball well. Every game there are 3 & 4 receivers on the other team that catch the ball better. I do have to say the RBs are catching well. They have made some tough catches on low balls especially.

All drops are huge, but with this group even more so. Given we already incur the opportunity cost of an overall lack of play-making from the group, we really need them to make the routine plays.

The frustrating thing is if you look at each individual, they all have their moments. West and Lenz (when healthy) make plays. Horne and Bundrage too. IMO, the problem is a synergy effect due to a lack of that #1, All-Big 12 type WR... rather than all these guys do not cut it as Big 12 players.

Should be no different than RBs- you put the ball on the ground you sit. I think Horne should be limited to special teams. Just dropped to many to not let the other guys get the chances. We've got five other guys who can carry the load.

I don't 'like' either of these ideas, but I agree with both. There's something to the idea that our receivers just can't catch the ball, and that's kind of an important part of being a receiver.

I'd be interested to see where we stack up in drops nationwide. Also wouldn't be shocked if Horne is up there nationally.

I saw Lane Danielson in the sideline...walk on with hands.

I wish we had more quick throws for five yards forward. We always seem to be making long throws, but they are horizontal and for 1-2 yards.
