Purdy's Early Performance

I think this can be deceptive. Do we even get the 65 yard td pass without running the ball so much on first down? The safety bit on the run face to spring X for the TD. I think that has a lot to do with the large yardage when passing the ball on first down.

I'm going off of memory, but on that series we passed three straight downs and ended up getting a first down on a penalty. The next play was the touchdown. I would have bet $100 we were running the ball on first down based on how awful those 3 plays looked.

Yep. Purdy having a QB rating over 160 in conference games is elite
Yep. Although, some on here seemingly can’t accept his current ratings be it a single game, a full season, a partial season or YTD. Somehow the numbers are conditional.

Blame it on the sample size. LOL.

Brock threw more balls away against OU then I've every seen from him. Guessing this was a hit to his rating but showed his growth and allowed the offense to be more productive.

Very nice game out of Purdy. Oklahoma State was when he first broke into the scene - would love to see him dominate In a couple weeks on the road!

Purdy has been fantastic in conference play. Really taking what the defense gives him and his reads have been almost flawless in the running game

Im confused. Is this one game sample size legitimate or not?
I just want to make sure if I should be happy or concerned. LOL

Purdy was terrific today. Hutchinson had some nice plays and continues to get better every game. But without Milton, our receiving corps is pretty average. I do like Daniel Jackson’s potential.

Offense was in a great rhythm early and we were real close to hitting some deep shots later in the game. Brock put almost every one of those balls on the money.
