What wild animal would drop this? No large domestic dogs around. Live in rural area. For clarification no Iowa fans live nearby so that nearly eliminates them. Thanks.

Things like this are where ChatGPT is good. Looked like dog s*** to me and AI agrees. Could just be a lost dog wandering around.
 
Possession is nine-tenths of the law, so if it’s in your yard you have a legal claim to it.
 
Im not sure this site has ever had a poo identification thread. This probably deserves to go on the award list.

I mow a couple neighbor's yards and noticed crap like this. We do have a few fox around the neighborhood as I haven't seen any rabbit droppings around in a couple of years. My guess is it is fox poo.
