Yeah, I thought that was great. Great interview overall from Pollard, as usual. For those that didn't catch it, Jamie said today ISU is his last stop and will end up retiring here.

He's so honest on the radio. Not many ADs open up like that.Yeah, I thought that was great. Great interview overall from Pollard, as usual.

Cytown should have an area called Pollard Plaza.
Edit: Andy Fales interviewed him. What show was it on? Id like to listen to it.
Way better situation at ISU with the AD and all coaches than any other University I can think of. Sure I have a bit cardinal and gold focus but think about it...Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, Colorado, Kansas, KSU and on and on.That's good on two fronts then, 'cause we know how Campbell values their working relationship.
I mean, we need to realize how lucky we are right now (and have been) to have the leadership, administrative and coaching that we currently have. A lot of schools aren't in our enviable position.
I guess on Miller and Condon the other day they came up with Pollard and Light District a play on Power and Light fom KC.
Edit: Andy Fales interviewed him.
He asked if Cytown was only going to be in use during football games. LOL.Listening now. Man is Murph a better interviewer. At times it appeared as if Andy did no homework. Seemed like a guy interviewing someone for a first time.
Would be nice if Fales had more historical context.Edit: Andy Fales interviewed him.

I think it’s inherently obvious when he rolls out Cytown that he’s not going to leave. This seems very threadworthy, deserves more than an old ass bump.

Sure, there are some things to complain about Fales but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. He is asking a lot of the same questions non ISU fans as well as our own fans on this board are asking (parking, atmosphere, can it support year round, etc.). Part of being the interviewer is you have to ask the popular (sometimes dumb) questions and to give JP the opportunity to explain it, sell it, and get people excited for it. At least it wasn’t Randy dumb.Any respect I had for Andy, which was little is gone now. I mean have some respect for the person you are interviewing, at least prepare for the interview.
CF fans aren’t asking about parking, atmosphere, and whether it can be supported year round? You haven’t read the posts in the cytown thread have you?Sure, there are some things to complain about Fales but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. I enjoyed it and we are lucky to have JP. Excited about the project. Hope we can get it built the way it’s intended.
The multiple other threads on CF about this project are.CF fans aren’t asking about parking, atmosphere, and whether it can be supported year round? You haven’t read the posts in this thread have you?
