Truck tires

Our guys run Michelin Defenders and they get about 75,000 miles on a set before we replace them. To my knowledge, they never get stuck in the snow, or on muddy job sites.

Put these on my Silverado last year & have been happy with them. Quieter than my last set & seem to do well in weather. Went through Costco, they have the free rotations/balancing/flat repairs & also no charge for a 5 year road hazard warranty.

I had the same problem on my Tundra. The factory Falkens were basically shot after 18k miles.
I wanted a more aggressive looking tire but I didn't want to compromise on snow or wet traction which if you look into RT tires is a problem. I've ran a lot of BFG KO2's in the past but the quality on those hasn't been the greatest as of late. There's a guy on social media who runs a tire shop I like to follow who videos the balancing and road force measurements on all sorts of truck tires. Those KO2 and KO3 tires never do well in the road force measurements. Toyo and Falken normally do really well in the road force measurements but their RT tires don't have the 3peak rating for snow and wet traction. You could get one of their AT tires but I don't really like the looks of them.

After all of that I landed on either the Mickey Thomson Baja Boss tires or the Cooper Rugged Treks. Now that I had it narrowed down to those two I ended up with the Coopers because I was able to get a good deal on them compared to the Mikey Thompsons. I got them installed in February and went through a couple of snow storms and in the rain. So far I've been really happy with them. Really good wet/snow traction, pretty low road noise on the highway and I was able to get them in a SL load rating to my gas mileage didn't take a massive hit like an E load tire would.

Same tires I have on my truck. I think they are a great tire. Good traction and limited road noise
