After the UCF scare, I think the coaches and players want to make a statement. The matchup seems favorable for Iowa State. I'm normally get nervous on games, but I'm feeling confident on this one. I think ISU wins by 17. If Tech covers, it is because we let off the gas towards the end.

ISU needs to still stick to taking what's there and get things develop, etc.

If they fall in love with trying to score on the big play vs. making the needed play it could get weird.

It's either going to be single point finish or 20+. It's easy to get overly hyped when undefeated, at home, on Homecoming, etc, etc and then **** the bed (i.e. the Hawks in any consequential bowl game). On the flip side, we should be playing with a chip on our shoulder given the injuries and road ahead and start out hot from the get-go.

I have no doubt this happens, however i also have no doubt that Noel or Green will have a long TD. FWIW, im also predicting Alston to get his first TD in an ISU uni

I just worry because we will get up by 14 -17 points and then CMC will go ball control. That -13.5 line has back door cover written all over it.

While Tech may have the worst defense in the league, Tech also has the No. 1 offense. Playing teams like that is always scary...
