NBA: Playoff Time

Even if Ginobli makes that... I still feel confident with the ball in Kevin Durant's hands with the game on the line

OKC already has a reputation as maybe the loudest and most wild place to play in the league. They'd have home court over Miami by a single game. Could be an incredible finals. (I just can't believe Boston can pull it off)

Both teams have three guys that are tough covers on offense. Miami has elite perimeter defense and weaker interior defense. OKC a little more balanced down the lineup on D. OKC a lot deeper bench.

SA/Miami would be awesome too.

SA wins 20 in a row including 10 in the playoffs and then loses three straight... OKC is legit

Surprising turn of events last night...I'll be honest, I didn't even give the Celts a puncher's chance when the series started. Then again, it ain't over yet. A lot of us were shoveling dirt on the Heat several weeks ago when they went down 2-1 to the Pacers, and we all know how that turned out.

Unlike the Pacers, The Celtics are veteran tested, have been here before and have one of the Best Coaches in the league. Pacers are a solid team, but Boston is a step above Indy.

It may be time for Riley to take over as HC. I know he doesn't want to and I know Spoelstra is a decent coach, but this is becoming a trend with him being outcoached in the playoffs.

Boston has been much better than I thought they'd be. Hell I thought both SA and Miami would win in 5 so I completely wiffed on my predictions.

Right now Boston looks like they're a step above everybody, but my point was that this series is far from over. We're one Lebron/Wade scoring explosion from this thing going back to Miami for Game 7.

The best thing about the way these conference final series are going is that they are making any potential Finals match-up seem exciting (not that most of them weren't before):

OKC-Miami: Probably the best possible match-up of marquee players
OKC-Boston: Potential to be a real "passing of the torch" series
San Antonio-Miami: Yet another great team vs. great players clash for Miami
San Antonio-Boston: A great battle of salty veteran teams, probably both being contenders for the last time

Do the Thunder give away a new shirt every night? Or do they just give season ticket holders a bunch of shirts at the beginning of the year?

OKC is a great team but they may be the most selfish team in the NBA, especially Westbrook. The guy is a great scorer off the dribble but that's virtually all he gives you. They would be scary good with a distributor at PG.

They have three guys who are great at creating off the dribble, I don't think their offense would be improved by putting the ball in the hands of a lesser player more often.

Now should Westbrook defer to Durant and Harden a little more often, absolutely.

Yea, more what I was getting at is what you touched on, they have 3 guys with such similar offensive games that a guy who brought something different to the table could really open their offense up,look at a game like tonight, a close out game and Westbrook has taken Durant out of the game thanks to too much dribbling. Its not all on Westbrook though, teams will take him driving other time rather than let Durant beat them.

Does anyone else feel like the Heat are going to win tonight. Everyone is picking the Celtics to win, and think the Heat are down & out/ broken spirited. But I'm not so sure I want the Celtics to win, their one of my favorite teams but I don't feel so confident as everyone else.

I still think the Heat are going to win the series. They're pretty close to even when the Heat don't have Bosh, and Bosh will play as much as he can tonight.

The way my day is going the Heat will win. Either way this series goes it's cool. Boston wins it's good, Miami wins faces OKC in the finals and the TRUE MVP gets to make a fool out the fraud :jimlad: who got the award.
