I can't see Purdy leaving after this year unless he absolutely blows up these last two games. Compared to other college QBs, he's 19th in passing yards, 25th in passing tds and lower in many other categories. He doesn't throw a great long ball and is not as tall as NFL teams would like (he's not short by any means, but a few inches of height is a big deal to NFL GMs, given his skill set).
That has nothing to do with my impression of Brock. He's a great leader for us, a record-breaker, a great person and a winner. I hope to be able to cheer him on Sundays in the future, but it will take the right NFL team to give him a chance. From an outside perspective, I'm not sure he stands out enough. I hope I'm horribly wrong.
