he got into a fight at the breakfast place on lincoln way across from campus and was suspended from the team and charged with assault and that was in early-mid december..

If that is true, sure it hurts a little, but most likely the starters were going to be Smith, Garrin and either Bell or Raven anyway. What it really affects is next year. Makes signing guys like Mars and Marry all that much more important.
