Pizza Ranch

From Wikipedia: "The Pizza Ranch vision is 'To glorify God by positively impacting the world we live in.'"

Which would explain why they don't have deviled eggs or devil's food cake.

They clearly didn't read that whole "the body is a temple" line in the Bible.

Pizza Ranch is the Hardee's to Ci-Ci's McDonald's. IE, neither one is high end, but there is a clear separation between the two.

Old people love it, but I do too. Every time we visit Okoboji we make one or two stops at the Spirit Lake one. Although, I've only been to the Ames one twice ever. That drive while hungover just doesn't seem to get me off my bed.

The one in Spirit Lake is the best one I've ever been to. I completely agree on the Ames one. Every weekend, we would wake up sometime around noon, talk about how we should go to Pizza Ranch and proceed to order Jeffs or Papa Johns 3/4s of the time.

I've had Pizza Ranch once. They ran out of pizza. Stop calling me fat!

Pizza ranch is a great place to partake in one of my favorite deadly sins without breaking the bank. Maybe 2 actually.

most of the pizza ranches i have been in remind me of Iowa casinos

Thats marketing in Iowa!!! I personally know 4 different Pizza Ranch owners. This organization has things down to a science, and profitable too!

It's kind of strange when the best thing most people can say about a pizza franchise is that they have great fried chicken.

They are opening one relatively close to my house. Should I assume it sucks?

Pizza Ranch was amazing back in the 90s! The one in clarion was anyways. Medbread is still the best appetizer I have ever had. Their chicken and pizza were both excellent. Unfortunately, I have been hearing for at least the last 5 years now that they have gone way down hill. That's too bad.

Tombstone classic sausage, Jack's pepperoni, Jack's bacon cheeseburger in that order. The garlic bread Tombstone is pretty good for those who like thick crust. I'm not much of a thick crust guy unless it's GPS&D. GPS&D and Domino's are the only pizza I get these days.

YES!!! Jack's Bacon Cheeseburger is the shiznit!! Tombstone 3 meat is a close 2nd. Tombstone Brick Oven are 3rd, but I can't seem to find them when I go shopping anymore.

Do you guys have Pizza 9 in Iowa? They are fairly new here in ABQ, and people love them. "We finally have Chicago style pizza!!" What a joke!!

Maybe I missed it in this conversation but is Gumby's still in Ames? Only pizza I have ever had that was absolutely amazing as a drunk but worse than Chuck E Cheese sober. Pokey sticks... yum for grease and cheese

Our favorite pizza now is Papa Murphy's garlic sauce De-lite with chicken and spinach. Incredible. I will have to try out Pizza Ranch now that it's close. Never been to one.

I had some Casey's off the rack yesterday, and it was amazing. They added some garlic or some other seasoning to their crust. Plus they actually had different pizzas out like chicken bacon ranch. Was bomb.

Nope, it's gone. I think two or three years now. Jeff's has a pretty good equivalent of Pokey Stix, and their Clones are like Pepperoni Rolls. I don't love most of Jeff's pizza, but the peripherals make up for it.

If you're going to a new Pizza Ranch, it may take awhile, but check out all the loads that eat there.

There's a message to be had.
